The Concert

Caroline Shaw The Evergreen

Under the direction of John Batchelder, the program features works by contemporary composers all drawing on the planet for inspiration. A musical mapping of 133 years of climate to a reimagining of Vivaldi‘s The Four Seasons utilizing clay pots to Caroline Shaw‘s ode to the wisdom of the forests in The Evergreen… it is a musical journey through our environment.

Our Signature Cocktail was a great success and an array of delicious appetizers, entrées, and desserts were enthusiastically savored by the many Music from Salem’s supporters and friends who attended.
